Carlsbad-based ViaSat recently announced that it has more than 285,000 high-speed internet subscribers on its ViaSat-1 satellite after one year of operation over the USA.  Their goal is 1-million subscribers.  Looks like they’re on track to accomplish their goal!

ViaSat Inc. – Carlsbad:  Has received an order valued at approximately $27.6-million for Multifunctional Information Distrubution System from the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR), MIDS Program Officer.
