2011 Economic Indicators – Construction employment increased in San Diego in May 2011, according to the latest data released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics.  In the San Diego -Carlsbad – San Marcos metro area, there were 54,200 jobs last month, 500 more jobs than in April.

2011 Economic Indicators – According to RealltyTrac, U.S. foreclosures activity hit a 40-month low in April, 2011; down 9% from March, and 34% from a year ago. This was the 7th consecutive month in which foreclosure activity declined on an annual basis.
